The College and University Librarians of Arkansas and ARKLink will host their business meetings.  In addition to those meetings, we have invited a special guest, Karen Dickinson, Assistant Professor of Surgery and Director of IPE Simulation and Clinical Skills Training at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She will discuss her development and implementation of an interprofessional simulation educational program to give faculty tools to support students struggling with mental health. She will also share with us her experiences and advice for helping students in mental difficulties, including suicide and suicidality and Title IX issues. 

After our business meetings, attendees will also have an opportunity to tour the new Central Arkansas Library System’s main branch after their extensive remodel and renovation. Changes to the library include the addition of a video production studio, podcasting rooms, teaching kitchens, a rooftop patio and more.

The meetings and guest speaker talk will also be broadcast on Zoom for those who want to attend virtually.
